Colourful Roots: The Journey to the Secret Garden

Community, What's On

The Colourful Roots project is a fabric garden installment. It celebrates Peel Region’s horticultural industry and Brampton’s historic designation as The Flower City. Colourful Roots will be displayed in the new tunnel at the PHC for the grand re-opening in the spring of 2012.

You are invited to participate by submitting objects that you have made, out of a variety of fabric and techniques (10 x 10 squares) install the project in the tunnel. Items received will be repurposed into blankets, scarves, mitts and hats and donated to various charities in the Peel Region.
