Inuk photographer Robert Kautuk captures a striking low-angle shot of the Arctic’s vast beauty. Photography is part of Kautuk’s daily life as he captures important moments, activities and scenes from his world. On this trip, Kautuk and his team are on their daily drive to check the Akuliaqattak and Nattiqsujuq weather stations, which help track the North’s changing climate. These stations are part of the Silalirijiit Project, which combines Inuit knowledge with science to address the urgent challenges of climate change.
In partnership with CONTACT Photography and the Ottawa Art Gallery (OAG), this exhibition will be presented on PAMA’s outdoor banners.
