Best Practices for Woodlands: Sustainable Trails for Your Property

October 25 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

This webinar is designed for rural landowners in the Credit River Watershed. Content may not be relevant to those outside the watershed. Check if you live in the watershed using our property look-up map: https://cvc.ca/watershed-look-up-map/

A poorly designed trail can destroy natural habitat and introduce threats to the health of your woodland. Join Credit Valley Conservation and Bill Goulding, senior project manager at Sustainable Trails Ltd., to learn why it’s important to design a natural trail system in your woodland that will enhance your enjoyment and improve monitoring for forest health.

Bill Goulding and Sustainable Trails have been planning, designing, constructing and maintaining recreational trails since 2005 for Ontario clients like Blue Mountain Resort, Kawartha Conservation, Central Lake Ontario Conservation Authority, Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, Toronto Parks, Township of King and private landowners. Bill’s goal is to create infrastructure that minimizes the impact on the environment and immerses the user in the natural environment.
