Both are on the faculty of Western University and have performed in a previous season with the string quartet Ensemble Made in Canada, which they cofounded. The program will include the epic Bloch Suite for viola and piano, as well as Gabriela Lena Frank’s Cinco Danzas de Chambi, a work inspired by photographs taken by Amerindian photographer Martin Chambi, and a piece called Double Rainbows by Ontario composer Darren Sigesmund.
