Caledon Garden Club Meeting
March 14, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Photography in the Garden: With the advent of digital equipment, photography has become accessible to everyone. But taking hundreds of pictures doesn’t mean you will get great images. Learn some techniques to get immediate results whether using an iPhone, iPad, point and shoot or SLR camera.
Nathan Hiller is a keen photographer, whether it’s Caledon landscapes or heritage buildings, or a more recent interest of capturing unusual things and through creative techniques taking the image into another dimension. He’s a longtime member of the Halton Hills Camera Club and has lived in Caledon for over 50 years.
Jules Maule-ffinch is an avid gardener. Many people consider her own gardening space (both indoors and out) as a wild, but interesting lot. She considers learning by experimentation a great hobby and always has “stuff” to share.
Jules and Nathan will present some examples. If you would like to share your photos for critiquing, bring them on a USB stick for group discussion.
Doors open at 7pm. Meeting at 7:30pm followed by guest speaker.
