Celebrate Sikh Heritage Month at PAMA
April 19 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
An event every day that begins at 10:00 am, repeating until April 30, 2019

Sikh Heritage Month at Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives (PAMA) provides everyone with an opportunity to learn more about Sikh culture and history through exhibitions, performances and workshops. Free Admission for the month of April is courtesy of the Sikh Foundation of Canada and the Region of Peel.
Check out this year’s feature exhibition in our tunnel gallery titled Karan Kaur: The Style of Life beginning Mar 30 through Jun 9, 2019. Questioning traditions in fashion is at the core of this exhibition and exploring ways in which new ideas in the Sikh community and beyond, will emerge. Ms. Kaur was one of the first Sikh women to wear a turban on a runway and considers it part of her evolving style. This largely photography-based exhibition features images of Kaur modelling her work globally.
Don’t miss special events and workshops each weekend at PAMA and in downtown Brampton brought to you by the Sikh Heritage Month Foundation. For information on all events visit ontariosikhheritagemonth.ca
