Dan Needle’s Perils of Persephone

April 20 @ 8:00 pm - 10:30 pm

Event Series Event Series (See All)
$15

The fictitious Township of Persephone was threatened when a mysterious truck, bearing the word “atomic” on its side, crashed into the swamp of the dairy farm of Eldon Currie, the township reeve. Eldon had dreams of becoming warden of the township and could not afford to make a mistake when dealing with this environmental catastrophe. Understandably he called for help from fellow farmer, The Honourable Henry Burford, MPP, Minister of the Environment. But as you can guess, the two of them got themselves into more hot water than they could handle.

Guelph Little Theatre will be performing this amazing comedy about toxic dumps, radioactive waste, fossils, cows and, of course, damage control as these two farmers-turned-politicians endeavour to try
to cover up their nuclear mishap. Plan to be part of this truly Canadian theatre experience.
