Participants choose to hike 1km, 3km or 5km with proceeds toward breast cancer care at Headwaters Health Care Centre. All ages are welcome, and ages 4 and up will receive an event T-shirt to wear during the hike, when registration is completed by Sep 19.
Breast cancer is the most common cancer for women worldwide, with someone receiving a diagnosis every two minutes.
The government does not provide the funds required to purchase medical equipment in our hospitals. This means nearly every piece of equipment used to provide cancer care is purchased thanks to donations made by individuals and organizations in our community.
