Island Lake Uproot Uprise: Invasive Species Removal

Join us to help control the spread of invasive species at Island Lake Conservation Area. Together we will remove invasive species impacting the survival of native plants and animals.

What to wear and bring
– For your own safety please dress for the weather. Wear long pants, socks and closed-toed shoes.
– Bring your own reusable water bottle (we have water to refill from).
– Sunscreen, bug spray and a hat.

Event details
– This event runs rain or shine with exceptions to severe weather. Registrants will be notified if the event is cancelled.
– Meet us at our registration tent at the entrance to parking lot 4. Parking is available in lot 4.
– Washroom amenities are available.
