This past January Lorraine took up pastel painting and has not looked back. She has been painting botanically inspired landscapes, commissions for both pet portraits and landscapes. “My past music and botanical careers have fused together to inspire new impressionist art creations. I love the luminous quality of soft pastels which captures the light and colour of the moment with vibrancy.” Lorraine has recently exhibited her art at local art shows and was accepted into the ArtWorks Oakville 22nd Annual Juried Show 2022.
