Making Memories Last – The Importance of Legacy Work with Bethell Hospice

July 22, 2021 @ 7:00 pm

Free

Legacy work has become a buzzword in recent years, yet the majority of people do not understand what it is. Legacy work is an activity that helps people feel connected to one another, even when they are physically apart. The purpose of legacy work is to initiate reflection and sharing of memories. It is a practice that can often bring comfort to those dealing with chronic illness, long hospitalizations or end of life. It involves purposefully creating something for the people you love and care about, and in this way it isn’t about death and dying, it’s about life and living. Join Kaylen Leonienco from Bethell Hospice to explore more about the value of legacy work, who should do it and when to start. You will also gain practical ideas and activities for completing legacy work. This program will be hosted on Zoom.
