This workshop offers a unique opportunity for children to work directly with an exhibiting artist. Don’t miss this chance to explore the vibrant world of textile art with Amanda McCavour! Amanda’s work is on display in the Art Gallery from September 30 to February 20, 2024.
We will imagine all kinds of animals, bugs and plants. Starting with drawings, we will develop characters and new kinds of creatures. These drawings will then be transformed into soft sculptures. Participants will make a pattern on cloth and will use stitch and drawing to create their own unique plush creatures.

This is an all-day workshop and breaks will be provided. Please ensure your children have snacks and a lunch.
