The figure is Inuk artist-photographer Katherine Takpannie and she is on unceded, unsurrendered Territory of the Anishinabe Algonquin Nation. The blank winter landscape which envelopes her is reminiscent of her ancestral home in Iqaluit, Nunavut where the land stretches far beyond where the eye can see.
