SOME TOTAL builds on interdisciplinary artist of Sikh Panjabi heritage Pamila Matharu’s 2010 Index (Some of All Parts) project: an assemblage of Matharu’s art, alongside collected items and archival material. This project which is the artist’s journey of self-discovery as an intersectional cultural producer, also aims to identify marginalized and racialized voices that have been excluded from history.
SOME TOTAL is a two-part exhibition with an indoor multimedia component and an outdoor photographic banner presentation. It is developed by PAMA in partnership with CONTACT.
