Rosemary Molesworth: From There to Here

January 13 @ 11:00 am - 4:00 pm

An instructional, educational overview of Rosemary Molesworth’s journey with clay.

Clay is magic. You can roll, pinch, throw and coil clay into almost any imaginable shape. Rosemary Molesworth spent over 40 years experimenting with ways to form clay as well as different ways to fire it. Wood, gas, electric, coal, even banana peels are a few of the options. Each piece is decorated using drawings, stencils, glazes, flashing or brushwork. The work on show includes clocks, cups, bowls, vases, lidded containers, plates, tiles and masks.

Local Headwaters potter Rosemary Molesworth passed away from cancer in early 2022. She hopes you will be, “intrigued, inspired, amused and educated to some of the possibilities and numerous pitfalls that can occur during the creative process.”

Oct 1: reception, 10am-4pm.
