“May we all find what we are looking for on our shared pathways.” – Playwright Darrell Dennis
Join us on the incredible journey of Simon Douglas in Tales of an Urban India. Written by Darrell Dennis, this innovative one-man show tells the story of an Indigenous man who grew up on both the reserve of Northern British Columbia and in the city of Vancouver. Set on a moving bus, the audience will be immersed in Simon’s story of survival and hope. Playing over 40 characters, we see the world through Simon’s eyes. Celebrating more than 500 performances, this semi-autobiographical play takes the audience on a quest for belonging, identity and acceptance – struggles we all share and universal story for our times.
