This is a musically themed, springtime fundraiser for Headwaters Arts. The afternoon festivities in the outdoor arts space, under the tented roof over the historic Annex courtyard, include an outdoor gallery set up for the unveiling of a mosaic tapestry that showcases a curated exhibition of over 100+, 6” x 6” canvas masterpieces created and donated by local Caledon/Ontario artists, and features musical entertainment by the 30 to 40 singers from Oakville Choir for Children and Youth.
It is a celebration of the coming of summer, and the chance to view and purchase original works of art created by so many talented Headwaters Arts/Ontario artists/students, and enjoy live music. Headwaters Arts reaches out to artists across Ontario, and high school students from Caledon and Headwaters Region, via a call to participate, and provides all with a free canvas and asks them to donate their time and talent to create works for this tapestry wall of beautiful art.
