Celebrate the beauty of nature by inviting a small piece of it into your home! Join Alexandra Vella from Alexscapes for an exciting terrarium-making workshop. We will visit the exhibition In Her Garden and find inspiration in Amanda McCavour’s botanical garden. In this hands-on workshop, you will make your own terrarium, drawing from the concept of wabi-sabi, a Japanese tradition of finding beauty in imperfection, impermanence and change.
Registration Information:
· Each person will go home with a glass vessel, a variety of plants (such as peperomia, string of turtles, asparagus fern, duckweed, terrestrial mosses), as well as a dragon stone and substrate from the Amazon.
