The Cost of Illness
November 9, 2022 @ 7:00 pm
FreeIf you or a loved one is facing financial hardship due to a serious illness experience, you are not alone! Living with serious illness may contribute to reduced income, as you need to work fewer hours, or perhaps you are unable to work at all. You may also incur miscellaneous illness-related expenses such as parking at the hospital, fuel to attend medical appointments, over the counter medications or even healthy groceries. As a caregiver, your income may also be reduced if you need to work fewer hours or take a leave from work to provide care to a loved one in need. The good news … there are supports to help ease the financial burden.
Living with serious illness is challenging enough without having to worry about making ends meet, so join this workshop in which a registered social worker from Bethell Hospice will guide you through the financial options available to help manage the cost of illness and caregiving.
Join us either in-person or virtually on Zoom for this program. This program will not be recorded for future viewing.
