Connections: Art + Book Club

June 22 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Literature and visual arts connect in this distinctive book club. Join Brampton Library and the Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives (PAMA) for an in-person discussion about women in the STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) fields. We will be reading Bonnie Garmus’ novel Lessons in Chemistry about a female chemist in the 1960s whose approach to domesticity changes the status quo for women. We will also tour the exhibition Iron Willed: Women in STEM. This exhibition features the barriers women have faced within STEM and their successes.

The discussion and tour will take place at PAMA.

Free, register with Brampton Library.
