Erin Arts Festival

Centred on Main St, the festival is an event with artists and artisans of various backgrounds and experiences showcasing their talents and interacting with the public.

A feature of the festival is the artists’ demonstration of “en plein air” painting live for the community. Completed paintings as part of this event will be juried with cash prizes awarded. Artists may use their medium of choice – oil, watercolour, acrylic, pastels etc. All participants will provide their own materials.

Also featured is a photography exhibition, a children’s arts exploration area in McMillan Park and a quilt display.

This event is in celebration of the opening of the new Wellington County (Erin) Library. It is intended to be an affordable, fun, family event showcasing Main St and our incredible new library.
