The Orange and the Green: Separating Fact From Fiction with Ken Weber

There was a time in the 20th century when there were more Orangemen in Canada than anywhere else in the world (including Ireland). And no county was more “Orange” than Peel, where the Orange Order once influenced every corner of politics and daily life, and the Catholics, “the Green,” had to keep a low profile. The Order today is but a pale shadow of its former self, but it has left behind a legacy of stories about tension, conflict and even violence. Ken’s presentation tries to work out just how many of them are true.
