Made in the Hills – Home Chef’s Delight

To get you started on your own local shopping adventure, we’ve put together some ideas on gifts for the home chef.

November 19, 2013 | | Back Issues

Add spice to gifts for the chefs on your list with rubs and marinades for fish,  steak or vegetables produced by Fire in the Kitchen 1. Then turn up the heat with a peppermill crafted by Cam Lavers 2, available at What’s Cookin’ 3 in Erin. Serve it all up on a tray made by Alton Mill potter Ann Randeraad 4, or in a wooden salad bowl from Jennifer McKinnon’s Turn of Fate Studio 5 near Hillsburgh or Jim Lorriman’s Bits & Pieces Studio 6 in Mulmur. You might even want to throw in a certificate for cooking classes from What’s Cookin’ 3 in Erin or Gourmandissimo’s Anjou Cooking Bar 7 in Caledon East.
