My paintings remind me of the thinness of time and the passing of the seasons.

Randi Lockhart’s naïve style and bold colours add a kind of hyper-realism to her floral paintings and transform everyday activities into charming vignettes. “My intent is to offer a break from our world – a peaceful world filled with light and colour,” says the Alton artist. She has interpreted her distinctive style in many mediums, including china painting, knitting and papier mâché.
