S. J. Pringle’s Country Children series, inspired by her childhood on the farm, her own two children and the countryside around her home in Grand Valley, was recently accepted by a large publishing house for distribution across Canada and the U.S. A self-taught artist, she has drawn portraits of people and animals in pencil and chalk pastel for more than 18 years and is now devoting herself full time to her art. She has a public studio in Dragonfly Arts on Broadway in Orangeville.
