Local corn this week at the markets!

Sweet corn is harvested at the “milk” stage before starch has formed, usually midsummer to early fall.

Head out to one of our local farm markets and pick up fresh corn. Eat it plain, or make Toasted Corn Salad with Mint in a Lime Cumin Dressing from Daphne Randall’s salads for everyday eating.
