Creemore Christmas
An intrepid illustrator captures the charming winter vibes of a secluded countryside village.
Fisher Monahan, a writer and illustrator who hails from the tiny town of Creemore, draws inspiration from its quiet charm and tight-knit community in his latest piece, Creemore Christmas. Now studying the arts in Thunder Bay, he continues to refine his craft while staying connected to the places that shaped him. During a recent visit home, he captured Creemore’s familiar streets and landmarks dusted in winter whites, with hints of a nostalgia for his youth.
“Spend enough time in Creemore,” he writes, “and you begin to suspect the hills are playing tricks on everyone.”
