In the spring breeding season hares indulge in boxing matches.

On the road to Avening a sign read “Welcome to Clearview Township” and a clear view is what a hare wants ~ wide open fields, prairies, tundra. With a turn of speed over 50km per hour, not much can catch him on the straightaway.
