Thai Dipping Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup white vinegar
  • 2 tbsp chopped garlic
  • 2 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tsp oriental red hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in small pot.
  2. Bring to boil and then simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Allow to cool, remove to a sealable container and refrigerate.
  4. The sauce can be made ahead and refrigerated for 3 to 4 days.
