Mulmur metal sculptor and blacksmith Jeff Smith studied at the Haliburton School of Art & Design and founded Hammersmith Metal Works in 2007 after working 25 years as a graphic designer. Jeff says he was drawn to steel for its malleable, plastic and forgiving nature. “I’m always on the hunt for odd-shaped scrap metal to spark my imagination.” He accepts commissions for wildlife and garden sculpture, as well as for custom iron gates and other commercial and residential installations. His work will be at the Creemore Festival of the Arts this fall and the Christmas One of a Kind Show & Sale in Toronto.
