In The Hills Welcomes Victoria Johansen to the Team

‘Taking on this new role to support our community at this time is an incredible opportunity I couldn’t pass up.’

In The Hills is pleased to announce local marketing professional Victoria Johansen is joining the magazine as regional sales manager.

Victoria brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in media sales, magazine publishing and business marketing to In The Hills, says publisher Tralee Pearce.

“It is an honour and a privilege to join the In The Hills team. It is the best local media brand in Headwaters,” Victoria says.

In The Hills is an independent, locally owned print and online magazine that has earned its reputation as the best-read, best-loved magazine in Headwaters.

Since 1994, the quarterly magazine has focused on telling stories about the region’s communities, environment, arts, food, leisure and more, establishing it as a cultural cornerstone for everyone who cherishes these hills as home – or hopes to one day.

In The Hills is delivered to 40,000 homes and farms throughout Caledon, Erin, Dufferin, Orangeville and Creemore – up to double the circulation of any other local publication. And it is available to visitors at local inns, restaurants, specialty retail stores and other tourist locations.

Victoria steps into a role filled until recently by longtime regional sales manager Erin Woodley, who has moved on to her next adventure in a community on Lake Huron. “We wish Erin all the best in this next chapter,” says publisher Tralee. “Erin’s energy, poise and care for her clients has been crucial to her success, and ours, for more than a decade.”

Victoria, who will be responsible for Caledon, Erin and other clients south of Highway 9, joins Roberta Fracassi, our outstanding regional sales manager for Orangeville, Shelburne, Creemore and  areas north of Highway 9.

Together, Roberta and Victoria will be working to connect the best local businesses with 40,000 readers and neighbours for our Summer 2025 issue. “Never before has it been more important to share the shop local initiative,” says Victoria. “Taking on this new role to support our community at this time is an incredible opportunity I couldn’t pass up.”

The Summer 2025 issue is published mid-June. The advertising booking deadline is May 9 – contact Victoria or Roberta to learn more!
