Thursday AM – Double digit temps, better for the body, so far we know Cody is up and moving at Forks of the Credit…

These feet are going to need a pedicure!

During his check points he must complete a lot in a small amount of time (if you watch NASCAR you will understand)

Cody is very, very sore. No hugs allowed, sorry guys (besides he is normally drenched with sweat it looks like he has been swimming, its really for your own good)

Cody went up until about 7:45pm this evening and said “I don’t know what has happened but I am feeling great”.

He could hardly walk and the remnants of a broken spirit were splashed on his face.

The Bruce is tough, it’s beaten him up and down and yet he still manages to embrace the positive.

Cody arrived to his first check point slightly frustrated as there was a loss of Trail marks due to some nice new telephone poles.

As Cody approached the check point you could see from the look on his face the trail gave him a bit of a beating.

Two goals: beat the current 13-day trail record & and raise $25,000 for the pediatrics unit at Headwaters Health Care Centre.

I cracked the gun open and the empty shot popped out of the barrel in a small cloud of smoke.
